LAKEWOOD, N.J., Oct. 26, 2017 – Perma Pure LLC, a global leader of gas conditioning solutions for medical, scientific, and environmental monitoring applications, today announced that the Company has received the prestigious New Product Award at the 14^th Beijing Conference and Exhibition on Instrument Analysis (BCEIA). This award recognizes new products that are demonstrated at BCEIA and which help advance the analysis and testing field. Perma Pure exhibited at this four-day event, which brought together industry leaders in the analysis and testing field to help promote advances in technology and discuss ways to improve accuracy.
The GASS-35 gas conditioning system has been designed to meet the needs of regulators and stack gas test agencies for ultra-low CEMS verification and inspection. It utilizes the unique properties of Nafion polymer to remove moisture from the sample gas, enabling accurate analysis of low SO₂ in high humidity samples without requiring purge gas. The sample gas flowrate can reach 2.0 LPM and dew point after conditioning can be lower than 0°C, which prevents the dissolving loss of low-concentration SO₂ during condensation and dehydration. This level of performance ensures measurement stability and accuracy with portable analyzers, including popular infrared and electrochemical models. The GASS-35 system is light-weight and strong with a net weight of 11.5 kg, making it easy to use in portable applications. This system can be stably operated at ambient temperature ranges of -10°C to 50°C.

BE Series Utilizes Nafion Tubing to Reliably Add Humidity to Calibration Gases used in Laboratory and Scientific Applications
LAKEWOOD, N.J., March 9, 2016 – Perma Pure LLC, a global leader of gas conditioning solutions for medical, scientific, and environmental monitoring applications, today unveiled its new BE Series moisture exchangers. Humidifying calibration gas has been shown to improve detector accuracy and reduce false alarms. Perma Pure’s Nafion tubing -based BE Series has been specifically designed to achieve these results. This highly-selective permeation tubing extracts moisture from the surrounding ambient environment to humidify the calibration gas to the required level for laboratory and scientific applications.
Perma Pure’s BE Series solutions have been tested and characterized for gas detection systems to make it easy to humidify gas during the system calibration and set up procedure. These moisture exchangers are made from Nafion polymer, which is chemically resistant to most gases being detected. The continuous moisture transfer properties of the BE series provides long-term performance and minimizes service costs. Perma Pure Creates Two Axis Swivel Head MD Dryers for OEM Use

Toms River, NJ (March 10, 2010) – Perma Pure’s MD-Series Dryers remove excess water vapor to keep analyzers in environmental, laboratory, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, water, and industrial applications free from damage and inaccurate results. A patent pending product upgrade incorporates two swivel head connectors so that OEMs may install the dryer quickly, regardless of the orientation of the analyzer’s connection fittings.

Using patented Nafion polymer membrane technology, MD-Series dryers selectively remove only water vapor from gas samples, leaving the concentration of other gas stream constituents intact for measurement. With this one step drying solution there is no need for a drip leg, peltier cooler, or desiccant canister. Without moving parts, the dryers are highly reliable and require no routine maintenance.
The new dual swivel head connectors speed manufacturing time and eliminate the need for adjustments to the OEM’s equipment. The upgraded dryers install even more quickly with less chance of damage.
The two swivel head connecter upgrade is available on polypropylene and fluorocarbon MD-Series dryers, available in a range of sizes to accommodate a variety of applications with flow rates of up to 4 LPM. The compact design is easily incorporated into analyzer cabinets.

Perma Pure’s Ammonia Scrubbers Earn CE Mark

Protect analyzers from ammonium salt formation
Toms River, NJ (January 16, 2009) – Leading gas conditioning products manufacturer Perma Pure has obtained CE certification for its AS-Series ammonia scrubbers, certifying that they meet EU health, safety, and environmental requirements.

The AS-Series ammonia scrubbers selectively remove ammonia from sample gas streams under analysis. By preventing the formation of ammonium salts, downstream analyzers and components are protected from damage and clogs. The ammonia scrubber can operate as a stand-alone product or as an accessory to a CEMS system. For sample streams with higher dew points, a heated ammonia scrubber is available to inhibit condensation.

The scrubbers were tested and certified through an independent audit by TÜV SÜD America Inc. as compliant with IEC 61010 – 1 : 2001 (2nd Edition); EN 61010 – 1 : 2001 (2nd Edition). These standards relate to safety requirements for electrical equipment for measurement, control, and laboratory use.
